We've worked with these guys on several pool forming and excavation projects. They're on time, work hard, and do great work. Would recommend to other builders!

Parma is in the far west end of Canyon County, close to where the Boise River runs into the Snake. It's farm country, with fields, irrigation ditches and long county roads, and it's also home to the replica of Old Fort Boise. Most of the dirt work out here is practical: getting water where it needs to go, getting a building pad ready or getting a driveway to hold up.
Farm ground means ditches, headgates, pipelines and lots of water moving through the season. Many Parma properties have a ditch along a fence line or across a driveway. We handle ditch digging, clean out and reshape ditches, and install culverts where driveways and field entrances cross them. Culverts have to be set at the right grade and backfilled in layers, or they sink and the driveway goes with them.
Working near an irrigation ditch or canal usually needs the district's okay, and we plan around when the water is running. If you're not sure who to ask, we can help you figure out whose ditch it is before work begins.
Larger parcels call for bigger dirt work. We dig ponds for livestock, irrigation and yard water features, shape them with the right side slopes and place the dirt where it's useful, like a building pad or a berm. We build level pads for shops, barns and equipment storage with site preparation and grading, and we run bulk material hauling when gravel, fill or topsoil has to move.
Old fence lines, brush and thickets along ditches can also hide the best building ground. Our land clearing and debris removal crews take care of them.
Outside the town of Parma, nearly every home has a septic system and a well. Septic permits in Canyon County go through Southwest District Health, starting with a site evaluation. We dig the test holes, tank and drainfield for septic system installation and septic system excavation, and we handle septic repair when a system fails. Our article on septic permits in Ada and Canyon County explains how to line up the steps so you don't lose weeks to delays.
Because properties are large, the septic location often shapes everything else. Placing the house, the shop and the driveway after the drainfield is chosen avoids having to move something later.
Long driveways on farm ground take a beating from trucks, equipment and winter. We shape and drain them with excavation for driveways so water leaves the roadbed instead of sitting in it, and we handle roadway excavation on private roads and access lanes.
Water lines, sewer lines and power conduit on rural lots often run a long way. We trench them with water line excavation, sewer line excavation and utility excavation, and we plan a single corridor when several services are going to the same building. Before anything is dug, Digline (811) marks public lines, and our Digline guide explains what it covers and what it doesn't.
