We've worked with these guys on several pool forming and excavation projects. They're on time, work hard, and do great work. Would recommend to other builders!

Middleton sits on the Boise River in Canyon County, a short drive from our home base in Caldwell. It's a town where a lot of people have room to spread out, whether that's a few acres with a shop, a hobby farm or a new home on the edge of a field. New neighborhoods are going in, too. All of that keeps the dirt work busy.
Middleton is close to the river, and some lots have a water table that sits near the surface, especially during irrigation season when the ground is wet. A pit that was dry in spring can have water seeping into it by midsummer. Old river channels also leave sand, gravel and round cobble. Cobble digs slowly, and trench walls in loose material can cave in if they aren't cut and shored properly.
We plan around both. Our crews slope or shore trench walls, keep pumps on site when water is likely and schedule the next crew right behind us. That matters for foundation excavation, swimming pool excavation and trenching services. Our pool guide, what affects the cost of pool excavation, explains how water and soil change a bid.
Many Middleton properties are outside city sewer and run on a septic system and a well. Septic permits in Canyon County go through Southwest District Health, and the process starts with a site evaluation. If groundwater is high, the design may change, so it's worth starting early. We dig the test pits, tank and drainfield for septic system installation and septic system excavation, and we do septic repair when a system backs up or fails.
For a new build on acreage, the septic location often decides where everything else goes: the house, the shop and the driveway. Our guide to septic permits in Ada and Canyon County walks through what to line up first.
Many Middleton parcels have brush, old fence lines and big trees along ditches and the river. We clear them with land clearing, strip the topsoil and cut a pad for the building with site preparation and grading. On acreage, we also dig pond excavation for livestock or yard water features and build excavation for driveways that are long enough to need real drainage.
Where a driveway crosses an irrigation ditch, we set a culvert at the right grade and backfill it so it carries weight; see culvert installation. We also fix wet yards and soggy corners with drainage solutions and French drains.
Newer Middleton neighborhoods bring tighter lots and HOA rules. We work with builders and owner-builders on site grading for construction, foundation excavation and subdivision earthworks. If you're building on a lot with a drainage swale between houses, we set the grade so water leaves your property without running onto a neighbor's.
Water and sewer repairs are a regular call, along with new service lines for additions and shops. Our water line excavation, sewer line excavation and utility excavation work covers digging to the line, making the repair and putting the ground back. Before any of it starts, Digline (811) marks public lines, and our Digline guide explains what that does and doesn't cover.
